Abstract

The paper addresses innovativeness and drones' acceptance in service delivery. It empirically examines innovativeness and drones' acceptance in corporate organisations in Nigeria. It addresses theories of Iinnovative behaviour and technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as theoretical foundations of the work. It also addressed other theories and models of innovativeness in behaviour. The study adopts a cross-sectional design and copies of Likert 5-type scale structured questionnaire were administered to 55 purposively selected respondents. After data cleaning 44 copies of the research instruments were used for analysis. Spearman‟s Rank Order Correlation Statistical technique was employed with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), There was a positive correlation and statistical significant relationship between dimensions of innovativeness and measures of Drones' Acceptance for efficient service delivery in Nigeria. Based on our findings and discussions, we arrive at the fact that the acceptance of drones' technology through effective innovativeness will enhance service delivery patterns in Nigeria. The study therefore recommends relevant innovations and drones technology because of their perceived usefulness in service delivery. And recommends relevant education on the usefulness and acceptance of drones technology in Nigeria, as important service delivery system to both marketers, farmers, military and e-tailing firms.
